   - Members certified by CITPM/COMIT/CITBCM will receive 10 CPC points and is applicable for one certification.

Synopsis:
The need for organizational resilience has never been greater. Facing everything from hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunamis, war, terrorism, cyber attacks, workplace violence, pandemics, to questionable business practices, organizations must be resilient to survive. This workshop takes a look at those characteristics identified as visible in resilient organizations and lacking in those not as resilient. It specifically looks at the role of the elements and how they impact the overall resilience of an organization

During a crisis, effective communications is crucial for the company to maintain its brand & reputation. While the company sorts out its BCM issues, keeping various stakeholders (Media, Government, Customers, Suppliers, Channels, Employees) informed & updated is vital to ensure the company’s brand, image and reputation does not suffer. How do you manage crisis communications? Who engages whom? Who gets priority? How do you ensure readiness at all times?
Workshop 4: Implementing Successful BCM program and Avoiding Common Pitfalls

Synopsis:
Increased risks highlighted with terrorist attacks, natural disasters and pandemic flu over recent times has escalated the urgency to ensure we have "value adding" BCM program in place within our organisations. This workshop will look into how to avoid common pitfalls during the implementation of your BCM program. It will also include a scenario-based tabletop exercise, which has been specially customised to stimulate discussions, identify issues and encourage application of the principles. You will learn to Identify common principles that make BCM successful and recognise common pitfalls often exhibited by organisations before and during response.
