The Singapore Computer Society (SCS) Young Professionals' (YP) Chapter was formed in July 2004. This sub-group of SCS is dedicated to providing services and facilitating activities that will appeal to all SCS members under the age of 40. The target members of the YP are young Infocomm professionals at the early stages of their careers, from various industries and specialization.
Representing a broad spectrum of the Infocomm industry, the YP Chapter is run by volunteers comprising of recent graduates entering the work force as well experienced professionals.

Our priority is to provide networking and professional development opportunities geared towards young professionals - we organize training programs, sports & recreations activities and networking evenings. We also endeavor to develop our younger members by providing opportunities for them to seek advice from more experienced professionals through social interaction and mentoring.
From these activities, the YP Chapter aims to promote the establishment of a vibrant, connected young Infocomm professional community that will continue to grow and enhance our industry.
