Application Procedure
The programme is open for enrolment twice a year - in May and November.
Candidates are required to submit 3 copies each of the following documents to the Certification
Secretariat: |

- Application Form (OM1)
- Self Assessment Report (OM2)
- COMIT Examination Certificate (for those applying for
COMIT (Associate) via exam route)
- Service Competency Report (not required for COMIT(Associate) who have passed the ISS COMIT Exam)
- Highest Educational certificates
- Recent Resume
- Letter of Recommendation from Employer
- Certification Enrolment Fees
- SCS Membership Form and Membership Fees (to be submitted
together if applicants are non-members)
A surcharge of $20 for late enrolment will be levied by
the Certification Secretariat for applications
submitted in the first two weeks of June and December. Applications received after 15 June (for May enrolment) and 15 December (for Nov enrolment) will not be accepted. Candidates are advised to submit their applications on the next enrolment.
No withdrawal of application will be entertained after enrolment and submission of application package. However, the applicant can choose to defer his application to the next enrolment exercise six months later.
Under normal circumstances, the certification cycle should take three months from the time of submission to the time candidates are notified of the results.
