TIP is the 1st of its kind program in Asia Pacific. It is a revolutionary educational journey supported by experiential learning, immersion program and transformational experiences. These are vital components of an ecosystem (for segments in Singapore, in US and in China) to provide a truly wholesome entrepreneurship learning experience.
TIP is modeled against the entire venture creation cycle by systematically imparting to participants the knowledge, the skills and the mindset – through “real life” applications and experiences. Its curriculum is also well supported by an entrepreneurship ecosystem, which involved active interaction with entrepreneurs, mentors, innovators, intellectual property attorneys, venture capitalists, private investors, business leaders and relevant government agencies.

TIP participants will pursue a rigorous 4-month full time study to complete a Graduate Diploma TIP, which is awarded by Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and University of Washington, Seattle (UW). Besides classes at NTU, TIP includes a 1 week of seminar sessions at Stanford University as well as corporate and start-up visits at the Silicon Valley, California, and a 5-weeks immersion program at UW, Seattle.

After completing the graduate diploma component, TIP participants will pursue 4 additional modules to obtain their Master of Science degree in Technopreneurship and Innovation (MSc TIP). One of the MSc TIP modules course will take participants to Shanghai for a 10-days immersion program, which includes industry visits to start-up and fast growing companies in Shanghai Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. MSc TIP is conducted on a part-time basis and TIP participants can take up to 3 years to complete.

The prerequisite for admission is a recognized basic bachelors’ degree in no particular discipline. Selection is based on passionate individual who has an innate drive for entrepreneurship, and the knowledge and experience they need to launch new products or businesses in today’s competitive marketplace through a holistic technology entrepreneurship education.
