Our People & Culture
Wherever we are in the world, ThoughtWorkers share the same core values, cultural characteristics and imperatives.
Globally, we have over 6000 ThoughtWorkers across 40 offices in 14 different countries. ThoughtWorks Singapore is home to over 150 ThoughtWorkers who come from a variety of backgrounds.
At ThoughtWorks everyone codes and everyone drives their own journey. We believe in a culture of continuous feedback and continuous learning. The ThoughtWorks culture is one that fosters:
ThoughtWorkers are encouraged to make their own decisions, drive initiatives they are passionate about and continue to learn. We are a flat organization without KPIs and managers. Individuals are expected to work together, ask for help, take ownership and lead. The framework of support is in place to support this, but the core of the culture is to allow everyone to "Make your mark" and drive growth and innovation for both the company and themselves.
We also believe in giving back!
ThoughtWorks actively works with Voluntary Welfare Organizations (VWOs) to help them leverage technology giving them more time to focus on advocacy rather than operations.
Beyond growing ThoughtWorkers, we have partnered with IMDA to launch ThoughtWorks JumpStart! And coaching and mentoring program for individuals who want to build their career in tech. Targeted at those who are currently working in other fields, this program is a launchpad to building a career in software development. We have partnered with a recruitment firm to find jobs for all ThoughtWorks JumpStart! graduates.
A quote from Glassdoor:
"Freedom to follow your own career path, a very agile and disruptive thinking spread to the entire company, an inspiring philosophy about equality of rights and social justice, amazing people everywhere in many aspects, it's a company that puts people before process, humanity before bureaucracy."
