Howie Lau, FSCS
Chief Industry Development Officer and Group Head of Industry Development Group (IDG)
Prior to joining IMDA in September 2018, Howie was the Chief Marketing Officer of Starhub and he was responsible for the company's brand and marketing strategies across the company. He was also responsible for StarHub's consumer business and oversees StarHub's Mobility, Pay TV and Broadband businesses including the Content and Local Production teams.
Howie was the Vice-President, Corporate Development of Lenovo's Worldwide Finance Organisation, where he oversaw Lenovo's end-to-end Post Merger Management and related Merger & Acquisition matters. Previously, he was Lenovo's Vice- President of Marketing and Communications for Emerging Markets Group, and was responsible for the strategy and execution of marketing and communications in the China, Eastern Europe, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Latin America, Middle East, Russia, Taiwan and ASEAN markets.
Howie was conferred the prestigious NUS Eminent Business Alumni Award and the NUS Outstanding Young Alumni Award for his achievement and contribution to the industry.
Dr Chong Yoke Sin, FSCS. CITPM (Senior)
Chief, Enterprise Business Group
As Chief of Enterprise Business Group, StarHub, Dr Chong is responsible for driving the next growth of the enterprise business and deepening the engagement with the business community. Dr Chong was the former CEO of Integrated Health Information Systems, a subsidiary of Singapore's Ministry of Health Holdings. IHIS architects, manages and operates highly integrated systems across Singapore's public healthcare sector, supporting over 40,000 users at all public hospitals, national specialty centres, polyclinics and community hospitals.
Dr Chong is also chair of the HIMSS Asia Governing Council for practising healthcare IT professionals in Asia, Australia and New Zealand. She is also a Board member of the Republic Polytechnic, SG Enable and NKF. Dr Chong has over 30 years' experience in the IT industry.
Ong Whee Teck, SMSCS
Chief Executive Officer
Whee Teck is the CEO of Trusted Source. He has over 20 years of global IT experience in various roles including consultant for bank mergers and core banking transformations, and was serving as Group Head for Wholesale IT in a regional bank.
He has been an Adjunct Associate Professor at the National University of Singapore's School of Computing since 2013 where he teaches IT Leadership and Software and Enterprise Architecture. In 2012, Whee Teck took time off to learn how to draw and paint as an adult learner, and has since held 2 exhibitions and sold over 80 pieces of his own work. Out of this experience, he published a book describing his process of continuous adult learning titled "Adult Learning Architecture".
Yap Chee Yuen, FSCS. CITPM (Senior)
Chee Yuen was former Executive Vice-President of Resort Shared Services of Resorts World Sentosa (RWS).
He is the appointed Chairman for the National Information Technology Standards Council (ITSC). He sits in the NUS School of Computing Industry Advisory Committee. He is also a member of SMU Board of Advisors of the School of Information Systems as well as RP School of Infocomm Advisory Committee.
Tan Teng Cheong, FSCS
Teng Cheong was former VP, Asia Pacific at Digital Intelligence Systems (DISYS) an IT Staffing & Services firm. In this role, he is responsible for managing and growing DISYS's business in Asia Pacific. Teng Cheong brings with him more than 20 years of Enterprise IT experience where he worked in sales & general management roles with various Enterprise IT MNCs across Asia.

Dennis Ang, FSCS
Senior Director, Innovation & Infrastructure
Dennis is the Senior Director, Innovation & Infrastructure at Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP). An engineer by training, he has been in the education industry for more than 20 years. Dennis is passionate in grooming and developing young adults. Besides his academic role at NYP, he serves in a couple of committees in the IT industry. Dennis received the Pubic Administration Medal (Bronze) award in 2011.
Dr Timothy Chan, FSCS

Timothy is the Director (Academic) of Singapore Institute of Management Pte Ltd. He leads the academic team in course development and assessment. He was previously the Director of Singapore Polytechnic Business School, and the School of Digital Media and IT. He has 30 years of teaching experience at institutes of higher learning in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Singapore and the United Kingdom.
Khoong Hock Yun, FSCS
Khoong is the former Chief Digital Evangelist at IMDA where he holds leadership responsibility for IMDA's industry development thrust, with specific focus on ICM talent, nurturing of ICT local enterprises/startups, guiding national cross-sectoral programmes and ICM communications infrastructure development. He has led various nation-wide transformational initiatives, such as the Next Generation Nationwide Broadband Network (NGNBN) and Wireless@SG, the world's largest authenticated, federated and nation-wide free WiFi service. He is a member of the Engineering Accreditation Board, a member of the Industry Advisory Boards of Nanyang Technology University's School of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, National University of Singapore's Institute of Systems Science, and the Financial IT Academy (FITA) at the Singapore Management University. He was also the Co-Chair of the Technology Skills Accelerator's ICT committee.

In this role, Andrew leads the team to achieve leadership position in SingTel's Telecommunication and Network infrastructure services in SME/Enterprises and Public Sector, and providing innovative ICT solutions to Enterprises in the areas of cyber security, cloud computing and managed services, and growing the satellite business globally.

Seow Khun is the General Manager of Global Technology Services in IBM. Prior to her role, she had opportunities to lead different business units in IBM such as ASEAN leader for Academic Initiatives and ISV development and Director for Public Sector across ASEAN.
Lawrence Ng, SMSCS
Head, Infocomm Technology
Lawrence leads the Infocomm Technology (ICT) Division of Singapore Terminals (ST) in PSA Group. As the Head of ICT Division, he is responsible for the overall development, provisioning and smooth execution of all ICT systems and functions in support of the various business units within Singapore Terminals. Bringing with him 20 years of proven experience and track record in management of large scale enterprise IT, he also serves as a mentor in PSA unboXed, the corporate venture capital arm of PSA International that seeks to invest in start-ups in innovations that bring strategic value to PSA. Lawrence also serves as a Director in CrimsonLogic's board.
Leslie Ong, SMSCS
Leslie Ong is the Country Manager of Tableau Software. He was formerly the Regional Sales Director, SEA & Korea for VMware where he was responsible for the strategic direction and market development for VMware's Software-Defined Data Centre portfolio.
With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Leslie has held different leadership roles in HP and Oracle. Before joining VMware, he was the Managing Director of Oracle Singapore. Prior to that, he was with HP for 23 years where he held various senior positions including sales management, product management, marketing channels and alliance management.
Harish Pillay, FSCS
Global Head, Community Architecture and Leadership
Red Hat Asia Pacific
Harish is the Global Head, Community Architecture and Leadership at Red Hat Asia Pacific. He is actively involved with the IT Standards Committee and is instrumental in the programming competition called code::XtremeApps held annually, since 2007, in Singapore. He continues to be an active advocate of FOSS in Singapore and Asia.
In 2005, he was inducted into the Council of Outstanding Early Career Engineers, College of Engineering, Oregon State University. He is a member of the Engineering Accreditation Board of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore and a Senior Member of the IEEE. In January 2017, he was inducted as the Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Singapore. In addition to these, in 2016, he was also elected to Board of Trustees of the Internet Society, headquartered in the United States. This appointment is for a period of three years from 2016.
Joshua Soh, FSCS

Joshua is Chief Operating Officer of Nogle. He is passionate about developing future leaders in the Infocomm community and has been actively involved with the Singapore Computer Society since 2004 where he served as chairman of the Young Professionals' Chapter. Josh currently serves on the Ministry of Education Applied Study in Polytechnics and ITE Review (ASPIRE) Steering Committee, the Infocomm Development Authority ICT & Media Master Plan 2015-2025 Working Committee. He also serves on the Executive Council of Employer Alliance as well as the Advisory Committee for Nanyang Polytechnic's School of Information Technology.

Tony is a Managing Director with Accenture Singapore, Healthcare and Public Services. With 20 years of ICT experience, Tony held many leadership roles within Accenture, led and successfully delivered multiple large scale, highly complex business transformation ICT programmes for the Public Sector, Financial and Product Industries in this region.
Prior to this, Tony was the Consulting Group Director with IDA International where he provided strategic IT consultancy and evangelized Singapore ICT to overseas government agencies. In addition, Tony was the Chief Information Officer for Kim Eng Securities, a regional financial organization.

Teck Guan is the Chief Business Technology Officer of Singapore Pools responsible for Tote Board IT Strategy and Operations (Tote Board, Singapore Pools and Singapore Turf Club). Being a business mindset oriented IT professional, he has displayed a passion for bringing innovation to businesses and developing business/ IT alignment initiatives.
The former IT Director (Asia Pacific) of Goodyear Orient Company was recognised by CIO Asia Magazine among the Top CIO 100 Honouree from 2005-2007, 2010 and 2012.
Chak Kong Soon, FSCS
Chak has been in the ICT industry for more than three decades. His passion in building and nurturing organisations led him to collaborate with several prominent individuals to start Stream Global with the objective to invest, partner and assist ICT entrepreneurs in realising their potentials.
His entrepreneurial spirit has earned him the Young Professional of the Year in 1999. Chak also received the SCS President's Award in 2007 and was conferred the SCS Honorary Fellow in 2016 for his outstanding commitment and contributions to SCS.
Jason Chen, MSCS

Jason has been in IBM over the past 10 years. He is currently responsible for the strategic direction and market development of independent software vendors and Cloud service providers.
He is passionate about mentoring the start-up community as well as engaging the IT Youths.
Stephanie Davis, MSCS
Stephanie Davis is Google's Country Director for Singapore, responsible for business strategy and operations. Prior to this, she has held positions such as Country Director for New Zealand and Managing Industry Director for Travel in the United States, looking after many of Google's largest and most complex Travel partnerships.
Before joining Google, Stephanie was Managing Director of Research and Marketing for Knight Ridder Inc, the second largest publisher in the United States.
Foong Sew Bun, FSCS

Sew Bun is the Deputy Chief Executive (Services, Governance, Cybersecurity) for GovTech. With 25 over years of IT experiences, Sew Bun held several senior leadership roles including Global Head of Retail, Private Banking and Wealth Management for Standard Chartered Bank, IBM Distinguished Engineer and regional country Chief Technology Officer for IBM.
Additionally, he is an Adjunct Professor with the National University of Singapore and member of the Keppel Technology Advisory Panel. Sew Bun was honoured to be named the IT Professional of the Year by SCS in 2016.

Peter Goh, FSCS
Peter is currently the Senior Advisor - Digital Technology at CapitaLand Group. Before this, he was a Managing Director in Accenture as the Strategic Growth Lead in Asia-Pac region which included M&A activities to accelerate the Growth Strategy.
He has over 28 years' experience working in Digital, IT and Consulting. He has extensive experience working with clients in commercial and public sectors in APAC and is a Director in several companies owned by Accenture. He was conferred the SCS Fellow in 2013 for his contributions to the IT community.

Prior to joining Oracle, he was the Vice-President of the IBM Server Solution for Asia Pacific.
