However, the candidate will have to write in to substantiate his request for the waiver. These CITPMs must accumulate sufficient IT and IS project management experience for the waiver to be effective and are required to take another elective in place of the waived module.

All candidates must satisfy the formal admission requirements of NUS's MBA programme as well as abide by the institute's procedures for module waivers.

Certified IT Project Managers who gain admission into NUS Master of Science, Management of Technology course will be considered for a wavier of the Systems Approach to Project Management module. However, this is on a case-by-case basis and subjected to the approval of the lecturer and programme manager. Candidates will have to write in to substantiate his request for the waiver with sufficient IT and IS project management experience, and upon approval of the waiver they are required to take another elective in place of the waived module.

Certified IT Project Managers who gain admission into NTU MBA programme's Management of Information Technology (MIT) course will be admitted to the "fast track". NTU has agreed to waive some of the formal IT course requirements to take account of these managers' background and experience.

These courses include Management Information Systems (core MBA subject), Contemporary Engineering of Enterprise Software (functional IT subject), Communications Technology and Network Management (functional IT subject) and Project Management (functional IT elective).

However, all candidates must satisfy the formal admission requirements of NTU's MBA programme as well as abide by the institute's procedures for course waivers and exemptions.
