Certified Software Quality Analyst
The tenure of the CSQA certification is 3 years. CSQA holders can apply for recertification to maintain the professional title.
By requiring recertification, certificate holders maintain knowledge and skills that are state-of-the-art in the ever- advancing IT industry and increase their level of competency through various avenues of education and activities. The Board ensures that the certification standards of integrity are being met and the value of the certification is being maintained.
Recertification may be done by:
- Submitting a Recertification Journal of qualified Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Activities. Recertification of CSQA through submission of the Journal will be administered by QAI - Pearson VUE and payment is to be made directly to QAI.
Each certificate holder is required to collect 120 CPEs over 3 years of active certification time in the following
- Publishing / Teaching
- Professional Experience and Development
Please note: There should be at least one activity from each category.
Journal Review Process will take three to six weeks upon submission through the software certifications portal and a rejection notice will be sent if the Board does not approve the journal. Each certificate holder is only allowed to resubmit their journal ONCE within the next thirty days of notification.
- Taking an Examination for Recertification to demonstrate your competence and skill in the certification competency domains. Recertification of CSQA through examination will be S$280.00 (exclusive of GST).
Each recertification applicants will have only ONE attempt to take / pass the recertification examination which MUST be scheduled / taken BEFORE the certification expiration date. Certificate holder who fail to do so will be regarded as new CSQA applicants and will have to apply for the CSQA course before attempting examination again.
